The key is in the name, we are a pilates studio located in Kinsale.We offer reformer pilates, mat pilates and barre.
As well as offering classes to help you achieve the results you want, our aim is to make the studio a place where our clients are comfortable, happy and enjoy coming to. Located in Unit 1, Kinsale Commercial Park, we have ample parking but also within walking distance of the town.
When starting we advise a one to one session if you have any injuries or concerns as we want to make sure you are safe and comfortable. Then it can be determined whether classes or one to one sessions would better suit you.
If you have no injuries or concerns, follow these steps.
Reformer: Each person starting reformer must complete at least one introductory class. This is to take the time to teach the basic principles. Depending on the client, more than one introductory class may be necessary.
Mat: If it is your first time trying mat pilates then the beginner mat course is for you. Please phone or email and we can let you know when the next course commences. (5 week course.)
Barre: Barre is a mixed level class so just book in, and get ready to shake!

Reformer pilates is using the pilates basic principles on a piece of equipment to help you achieve the most from your pilates session. It works using resistance through springs and this promotes length, strength and increased flexibility.
Mat pilates allows you to own each exercise through your body incorporating the basic principles. Mat can be done with just your body and a mat, or by adding in other wonderful pieces of pilates equipment such as light weights, fit circles and balls.
Barre is a class based on a ballet work out, with pilates and endurance work built in. Think long, strong and lean muscles. An ideal workout which helps you build strength in a safe and kind to the body way.
